“Shh!” hissed my dad. “Tigers?!” My whisper grew more audible.  “SHHH!” “Elephants? Chimpanzees? Gorillas? Sasquatch??!” “Elk,” my dad replied. “Those are elk?” I asked.  “Yes, those are elk.
